Two things to always keep in mind when you are giving unto the Lord for the advancement of the gospel and the furtherance of God's Kingdom:

1. "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver (2 Cor. 9:7)."

2. "For if there be first a willing mind (a willingness to give), it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not (2 Cor. 8:12)."
