The Sovereign Grace Baptist Fellowship was founded not only to provide fellowship amongst baptistic churches which share like beliefs in the Gospel of God's free and sovereign grace, but also to enable us to accomplish through group effort what would be much more difficult to achieve as individual churches. Since most of our congregations are not large, we by joining forces are able to be more effective in promoting Gospel missions at home and abroad.

 

The constitution, by-laws, and articles of faith adopted by the SGBF are such that allow for differences of opinion on non-essential matters, while, at the same time, calling for agreement on basic and essential Gospel truths. Our fellowship has no infringement upon the autonomy of the member churches, and participation is completely voluntary. The doors of the SGBF are always open to all interested churches who share our faith and purpose.
